Warm socks for COLD water. If you are planning on doing a cold water canyon such as Heaps, or Imlay, or you just always have cold feet (like Shirlz) these are the perfect neo socks for you. This is a very stretchy, squishy, comfy neoprene sock that very fits well. The 5mm is thicker than other neo socks so be sure your shoes have enough space to accomodate them.
Neoprene socks are an essential item for canyoneering. They keep the feet warm, but also keep sand away from your tender footsies.
Wearing a wool sock underneth them can be great for comfort and warmth - or they can be worn by themselves. They have a sticky pattern on the bottom of the sock - if this proves to be a problem, turn them inside out. These socks have very high quality neoprene which makes them stretchier and easier to get on.
Compared to the Argos socks, these are squishier and stretchier which makes them better for a high volume foot.
