Drill Bits SDS for hand drilling 3/8" and 1/2"
Drill bits for doing the devil's work.
1/2” Bosch and 3/8” DeWalt SDS bits made for rotary hammer drills, which are used with the Petzl Rock Pecker for hand-drilling. They have the SDS attachment system, and a carbide hunk in the tip that makes them very durable. Working length is 4”; full length of the bit is 6”.
For hard stone like Basalt, Limestone and Granite, use the blunt tips. For Sandstone, I offer them tediously reground on my bench grinder to a sharp chisel tip. This works better in soft sandstone, but chips and breaks if you use it on hard stone.
Offered in 3/8" and 1/2", and in Regular and Reground.

Select 10mm for 3/8" bolts, or 12mm for 1/2" bolts. Nicely finished.

Revised AGAIN - no bolts or hangers, just the kit. You will need 3/8" bolts and hangers to complete the tool.
