Middle Fork, Part II

Actually, the big guy and Melody bailed after this section, realizing before the rest of us that we were in the tight, difficult Middle Fork. A wise choice.

The leprechaun, rappelling
A couple short rappels off interesting, natural anchors leads darker into the chasm.

Not as narrow as it gets, but getting there
A lot of narrow canyon sideways chimneying, hanging the pack on the Bunny Strap.

Alicia and Tom take a break from Mae Westing. Guess who's having a better time?
And, occasionally opening into small rooms like this one.

And more chimneying. It goes on for quite a while.

Steve Lewis, somewhat more relaxed than in-canyon.
And finally, back to Leprechaun Junction and out into the main canyon. Enough already! for one day. Time for some malt beverages and a sumptuous gourmet meal.
